Founded in 2015, The Banyan Scholarship has proudly supported the dreams of 44 students, empowering them to achieve academic excellence. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2025, we look forward to continuing our mission of transforming lives and building brighter futures for years to come.

ABOUT US
SRS Family Foundation believes that by empowering youth and maximizing opportunities for them to succeed, we empower our world.

Our mission is to uplift the lives of disadvantaged youth by increasing their opportunities for education and employment, and to enrich their lives through spiritual development and exposure to the arts.
​
Our approach is to generate new knowledge through research where there are gaps, and use evidence-based models to implement sustainable programs.
​
Our current focus is to work with individuals and organizations in New York City that support disadvantaged youth, primarily of South Asian origin. In addition, we aim to support organizations working with adolescents in India.
